FRANKLIN'S FRIENDS' SIGNATURE EVENTS

Franklin’s Friends is proud to present our  Unleashed. Uncorked. Unframed.  gala on May 18, 2024, at the Winter Park Events Center. It will be a magical evening with exemplary wines, gourmet cuisine, spectacular live and silent auctions, and a private art sale. WESH 2 News anchors Jason Guy and Michelle Imperato will return to host the event.  We anticipate more than 250 animal lovers will don their cocktail attire and come together to support Franklin's Friends and local animal welfare.

VIP auction preview and private champagne reception begins at 6 pm with general admission guests joining the party at 6:30!

Franklin's Friends tenth annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest 

was paw-some and spook-tacular! A record breaking crowd came out to enjoy the leisurely dog walk and doggie costume contest while raising money for Franklin's Friends and local animal welfare.

We had beautiful weather, lots of dogs in costumes, almost 70 vendors and rescue groups, music, raffles and more! WMMO's Denise Ryan (and her dog Rusty) returned to emcee. There was fierce competition for top fundraising and best costume prizes. And best of all we raised over $38,000 - with donations still coming in! These funds will be granted to local nonprofit and government agencies for Shelter/Rescue, Spay/Neuter, and Community Education projects.
