HOWL-O-WEEN Walk-A-Thon

 Join Franklin's Friends on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Cranes Roost Park in Uptown Altamonte for the 13th Annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest!

This beloved Central Florida tradition brings together pets and their people for a morning filled with fun, community, and philanthropy. Enjoy a dog walk, canine costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, music, food trucks, raffles, and more, all while supporting local animal welfare.

We expect more than 500 animal lovers to join us for this exciting event. Participants can fundraise to support animals in need and compete for fabulous prizes awarded to top individual fundraisers and best costumes.

Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and supporters, last year's HOWL-O-WEEN raised more than $48,000 to help pets throughout Central Florida. Join us this year and help make an even bigger impact!
