We want to help you say “yes” to every animal that needs you. To achieve this mission, we offer animal welfare grants to deserving 501(c)(3) nonprofits and government agencies in Central Florida, specifically those based in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Volusia, Lake, Polk, Brevard, or Hillsborough Counties.
We currently support three pillars: shelter and rescue, spay and neuter, and community education. Our animal welfare grant applications are rigorously reviewed for veterinary and financial responsibility, and all funds granted are restricted to the use specified in the grant application. To make sure you qualify and prepare to apply, visit our Grant Application Guidelines page.
Once you're accepted as a grant recipient, you'll have another source of income for your animal welfare organization, so you can continue the life-saving work you do every day.

“Without Franklin’s Friends, Bai probably wouldn’t have made it. She had an open fracture and needed surgery within days. With the help of Franklin’s Friends, we were able to get her the help she needed, and now she has a wonderful life.”
